This original built circa bathroom from 1950s needed a transformation into something more modern and practical.
This bathroom renovation project required complete gut of the bathroom including shifting the toilet from the wall to allow more leg space, converting alcove tub to stand alone tub, replacing two potlights and changing location of two potlights, replacing the fan, replacing the entire subfloor, installing heated floor and installing new ceiling. Stand-alone tub along with standalone faucet replaced old plumbing fixtures. A mirror with light was installed along with corner hanging vanity.
This bathroom renovation project also involved extensive all around tiling job with large format 24x24 tiles. To preserve the look and feature large tiles and avoid small tile cuts, the layout of the tiles had to be carefully planned before the installation. It turns out to be a beautiful and classy bathroom with perfect execution.
